Nelma Spyndre studied architecture and urban planning at the Leicester School of Architecture in the United Kingdom. She completed her study with a focus on landscape architecture at the Architectural Academy in Amahagge. In 1998 she obtained a master's degree and in 2000, she joined Envirofiy.
